The first publication produced from the project has been published in the Buddhist Studies Review 38(2).
The article offers a brief introduction to the Oral History of Tibetan Studies project and reflects on some of the themes arising from the interviews, in particular the close interaction between Buddhist and Tibetan studies. It draws on events, people, and institutional/academic/organisational developments recounted by interviewees that capture how two relatively young fields evolved in parallel with each other.
